Tesla and Chinese Government Speed up China Green Vehicle Development- 5th Green Vehicle Convention 2014

Chinese President Xi Jinping said on May 24 that new-energy vehicles are crucial for the country's auto industry and that great importance should be placed on the vehicles. His comment boosted new-energy vehicle stocks up to the daily limit on May 26. China sold a total of 6,853 new-energy vehicles in the first quarter of 2014, a 120 percent year-on-year increase, according to data from China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on April 22. Although experts say that sales were mainly boosted by public bodies such as bus operators, with private consumers only accounting for a very small number of sales, automakers still display a passion in the market for green vehicles.

Tesla Motors CEO and founder Elon Musk shares his patents with the world to aid electric car progress. Essentially this means that anyone or any company will be able to look at and use the technologies found inside the Tesla Model S and its other vehicles. Tesla Motors has admitted it is unable to supply the global fleet of two billion cars without help from the bigger manufacturers and so it has shared its knowledge in a bid to open the flood gates of progress. YE Shengji, the Deputy Secretary General of China Association of Automobile Manufacturer will give the speech of China Association of Automobile Manufacturers’ Vision of Interoperable Green Mobility in China; ZHAN Wenzhang, Vice Director-Strategy Planning Department of Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd. will share his opinion on Development Strategy of BAIC Group and Auto Parts Industrial Distribution. ZHENG Gang, General Manager of Beijing New Energy Vehicle Co., Ltd. has confirmed to address too. RAO Da, Secretary General of The China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) will talk about The Sustainable Development Of New Energy Vehicle In China.YIN Chengliang,Vice Dean of Institute and ZHANG Xi, Associate Professor of Automotive Engineering ShangHai Jiao Tong University have confirmed to speak in this event. David Reeck, Director - Powertrain Product Engineering of General Motors and ZHANG Wengzhang, Deputy General Manager of Beijing Automotive Group Co., Ltd. will address in the event. SUN Jiang Ming, General Manager of Shanghai Zhongke Shenjiang Electric Vehicles Co., Ltd. has confirmed to speak too.

The delegations like Mitsubishi Electric, DENSO China (Investment) Co,.Ltd, Eaton Vehicle Group Ltd, UL-CCIC Company Limited, Lear corporation, Higen Motor, Goodyear Rubber&Tire Co,.Ltd, BASF China Coating have confirmed to participate at this upcoming event.
