International & Influential Speakers Gather to Bring Decentralised Energy Across the UK

As we approach the launch of Decentralised Energy Forum, the distinct bill of speakers continues to grow. Most recently recruited for the robust lineup is Keynote speaker, Georg Houben, Project & Coordination Officer for Smart Cities & Communities Team European Commission. 

Responsible for bringing cities, industry and citizens together to improve urban life via sustainable solutions, Georg will share his experience on stakeholder management and decentralised energy’s potential within London.

Also added to the extensive list the organizers have attained is Nigel Farren, Member of DECC Community Energy Contact is the newest member.

As the Founder of Energise London, he has made outstanding contributions to the field of social enterprise, establishing community energy initiatives in London’s boroughs.

Farren is famed for his current trading as Energise Barnet, Energise Ealing, Energise Harrow and Energise Waltham Forest, propelling a pan-London community making renewable energy affordable for all.

The speaker list offers diversity in topics for delegates to discuss, debate, and learn about.
