World Smart Energy Week, the largest smart and renewable energy trade show in Japan, took place from Feb. 26-28 at Tokyo Big Sight. Combing 8 independent shows (PV EXPO、FC EXPO、WIND EXPO、PV SYSTEM EXPO、BATTERY JAPAN、ECO HOUSE&ECO BUILDING EXPO、SMART GRID EXPO and ENETECH JAPAN), World Smart Energy Week covers a wide range of power generation, system integration and installation, energy conservation and storage, smart grid and processing technology.

According to Reed Exhibition, the show organizer, the number of exhibitors has slightly increased to 1,594, and the show is expected to attract more than 80,000 industry professionals from 65 countries and regions.

In order to get close with western Japan industry players, Reed Exhibition will hold another World Smart Energy Week at INTEX OSAKA, Osaka in September, 2014. The show will be consist of 4 independent shows - PV EXPO, PV SYSTEM EXPO, BATTERY OSAKA and SMART GRID EXPO and the expected number of exhibitors is 350.
