• INT’L SMART GRID EXPO - Japan’s largest exhibition and conference specialised in technologies and services related to smart grid: Various products, technologies and services related to smart grid will be gathered from all over Japan and the world.
  With the expansion of Japan’s smart grid business, the 2014 show is expecting further involvement of professionals showcasing and seeking smart meters, smart grid related devices, infrastructure, IT system and services. The booth size of each of the exhibitors will be expanding to accommodate a greater number of delegates and overall, the scale of the shows is expected to expand by 20 percent.
  The proportion of exhibitors from overseas will be increasing as the window of opportunity for overseas firms to conduct business in the Japanese market has become wider.
  With the recent increase in the smart grid infrastructure construction in Japan, IT firms will also be strengthening their presence and major alliances groups will be exhibiting to sell their standards into the Japanese market.
  Numerous projects are underway in Japan to create a “Smart Community” and many of the major Japanese engineering and electronics conglomerate companies are shifting their business from smart grid to smart community. In addition to major Japanese engineering and electronics conglomerate companies, firms from various sectors such as automotive sector, housing sector, etc. will be present to illustrate the concept.
