TBEA announced on April 28 that its subsidiary Xinte Energy signed a “Strategic Cooperation and Procurement Agreement” to purchase 181,000MT of primary polysilicon from Donghai JA Solar over a period from April 2022 to December 2026. Earlier this April, Canadian Solar and Juwi Shizen Energy announced the commencement of the construction of the Azuma Kofuji 1 Solar Power Plant in Fukushima, Japan. Canadian Solar is the developer of this project, and Juwi Shizen Energy is the contracted EPC firm.
