It is reported that the project by CATL wholly-owned subsidiary Luoyuan Times New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. construction, with a total investment of 6.5 billion yuan, covering an area of about 900 acres, planning and construction of industrial standardized plant and international leading lithium-ion battery production line, put into operation is expected to have an annual production capacity of 40GWh new energy batteries, annual output value of more than 10 billion yuan.
According to the information, Luoyuan Times completed its registration on March 7 this year. The legal representative is Chen Weifeng, with a registered capital of 2 billion yuan. Its business scope includes the research and development of emerging energy technologies, battery manufacturing, battery sales, the research and development of new material technologies, and the promotion services of new material technologies, etc.
