According to Official Account @DNE, on April 9th, according to foreign media reports, Waaree Energies, a leading photovoltaic company in India, announced that it plans to add another solar module manufacturing plant with a production capacity of 1.6GW to its factory in Brooks County, Texas, USA.
The new plant will expand the company's existing 1.6GW capacity (which went into operation at the end of December 2024), bringing its total capacity in the US market to 3.2GW.
Previously, on January 6, 2025, Waaree Energies in India's western Gujarat state built 5.4GW photovoltaic cell manufacturing plant has begun trial production, which is India's largest cell manufacturing plant.
Data show that Waaree Energies was founded in 1990, is India's largest PV module manufacturer, its headquarters is located in Mumbai, India.
