Release of Feicheng Demonstration Data: Measured Energy Efficiency on the Grid Side Reaches 87.13%

Through detailed operating data, Trina Storage demonstrated the core advantages of the project to the industry, including excellent safety performance, high operating efficiency, and strong profitability. The demonstration base adopts Trina's self-developed and self-produced cell-based Elementa G3 energy storage battery container, equipped with an intelligent early warning platform and a three-level protection system, maintaining a "zero safety accident" record for over 500 days of cumulative operation.
The demonstration data shows that the energy storage power station has high operating efficiency, with leading charging and discharging performance in the industry. The single-cycle energy efficiency on the 35kV grid side (including auxiliary power consumption) of the entire station is 87.13%, and the DC side efficiency of the battery container is 95.12%. In the frequency regulation and peak shaving applications of the Shandong power grid, the power station has fast response speed, high accuracy, and significant charging and discharging cycle stability.
Dr. Sheng Yun, Deputy Director of Trina Storage's Product Research Institute, stated that in the Shandong electricity spot market and ancillary service market, the Feicheng Phase II power station can steadily achieve high annual returns through precise peak-valley arbitrage and capacity compensation mechanisms, making it a model for market-based applications.
