According to CSI, on March 20, 2025, e-STORAGE Technology Co., Ltd.(hereinafter referred to as "e-STORAGE"), a subsidiary of CSI Solar Co., Ltd. , announced that it has signed a battery energy storage system supply agreement and a Long-Term Service Agreement (LTSA) with White Tank Energy Storage, a company under Strata Clean Energy, a leading clean energy solutions provider in the United States. Under the agreement, e-STORAGE will supply the battery energy storage system (BESS) and a 20-year long-term operations and maintenance service (LTSA) for the company's 100 megawatt/576 megawatt-hour (MWh) direct current (DC) “White Tank” energy storage project in Arizona, USA. Construction is scheduled to begin in October 2026 for the project.
The “White Tank” energy storage project, developed by Strata Clean Energy, will provide stable renewable power to the local grid through Arizona Public Service (APS). As the world's top tier energy storage system total solution provider, e-STORAGE will provide the company's leading SolBank 3.0 energy storage system for the project and will be responsible for the system integration, commissioning, and long-term operation and maintenance management.
The project is expected to deploy approximately 120 e-STORAGE SolBank 3.0 energy storage systems, which will be used to store PV power during peak hours in the midday and flexibly dispatch it during peak demand periods in the evening through the photovoltaic storage synergy model. After the project is commissioned, e-STORAGE will also manage and maintain the system through a 20-year Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) to ensure continuous performance optimization, comprehensive monitoring and maintenance, as well as efficient synergy with the APS grid.
