According to Official Account @PV-Dao, recently, Indian company GP Eco Solutions India signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the government of Madhya Pradesh to set up a 5GW module and 2GW cell plant in the state.
GP Eco Solutions India said the company plans to invest INR10 billion (about $11.44 billion) by the end of fiscal year 2028 for the development of PV manufacturing in Madhya Pradesh, which will include 5GW of modules and 2GW of cell manufacturing plants.
GP Eco Solutions India's primary business is the distribution of inverters and modules, as well as the provision of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) services for commercial and residential customers, and the operation and maintenance (O&M) of photovoltaic (PV) plants.
In addition, the company is an authorized distributor for Sungrow and LONGi in northern India.
