According to Official Amount @EnergyStorage001, Envision Energy's production base for smart wind turbines and smart energy storage systems in Jetsu, Kazakhstan, was officially opened, which is an important step for the expansion of Envision's overseas layout.
The project, built by Envision Energy in conjunction with Kazakhstan Utility Systems LLP, has a total investment of $40 million and is expected to be commissioned in the third quarter of 2026, with a designed annual capacity of 2GW of wind turbines (250 units) and 1GWh of energy storage systems (about 100 sets). Of these, 60% will be supplied to the local market and 40% will be exported to Central Asia and the Caucasus.
Envision Energy will provide Kazakhstan with green technical support for the whole process from design, production to operation, and help grow local specialized talents in Kazakhstan. The two companies also plan to conduct joint research and development with local universities to develop green products that better suit Kazakhstan's national conditions.
Up to now, Vision Smart Energy Storage System has delivered more than 15GWh, with orders in hand of more than 25GWh, and has participated in more than 200 projects globally, including large-scale energy storage projects such as Jurong Island in Singapore and Wormald Green in the UK.
