According to Official Account @DNE, on January 10, JA Solar Technology released its record of investor relations activities for December 2024. The company's Board Secretary, Wu Tingdong, and the investor relations team participated in the reception, addressing questions on policy trends and overseas markets.

During this event, JA Solar revealed that the penetration rate of N-type products is rising rapidly in 2024, with a quarterly increase of approximately 10-15% for new products. By the end of 2024, over 80% of orders are expected to be N-type products. Additionally, the company disclosed that as of mid-2024, it held photovoltaic power stations with a total capacity of approximately 3 GW and plans to continue its rolling development model in the future.

Regarding overseas markets, JA Solar stated that while trade barriers exist in the U.S., other regions face relatively fewer tariff barriers. With cost curves maturing and automation levels improving, global industry replication has become easier. For instance, the company has achieved favorable results with its Vietnam facilities, where cost control is on par with domestic operations, prompting further expansion. Currently, JA Solar plans to establish a project in Oman with an annual production capacity of 6 GW of high-efficiency solar cells and 3 GW of high-power solar modules.

As for the European market in 2024, JA Solar noted a slowdown in installed capacity demand, linked to economic downturns in key growth markets like Germany and the Netherlands, which have impacted electricity prices and demand. However, Europe comprises many countries with diversified growth drivers. While predicting market trends becomes more challenging as the growth points scatter, stable growth is expected in Europe by 2025.

In emerging markets across Asia, Africa, and Latin America, JA Solar observed that weaker infrastructure tends to favor the acceptance of distributed photovoltaic systems or microgrids. The Latin American market is expected to experience remarkable growth in 2024, and markets in Asia, Africa, and other emerging regions are projected to maintain strong growth momentum through 2025.
