On October 30, TÜV confirmed that Tongwei's THC-G12 Heterojunction module achieved a maximum power output of 776.2 watts and an efficiency of 24.99% in a 2384*1303mm format. This marks the first time a Heterojunction module has surpassed 775 watts, representing a significant breakthrough. Since 2023, Tongwei has set new records for both power and efficiency nine times.

The Tongwei Global R&D Center opened in June 2024. In just four months, the R&D team increased cell efficiency by nearly 0.3% by optimizing light-trapping structures and PECVD uniformity, along with employing advanced materials and printing techniques, raising the module mainstream massive production power up to 745 watts. Building on previous successes in mass production, this latest achievement further elevates Heterojunction module's power. Tongwei now offers a leading GW-level Heterojunction + copper interconnection (THL) solution, focusing on silver-free technology and driving industry standards forward.

The Tongwei Global R&D Center aims to advance cutting-edge technologies and foster industry growth. As the largest and most capable R&D center in the field, Tongwei focuses on developing mainstream technologies such as TOPCon, HJT, xBC, and perovskite/silicon tandem cells and modules. By exploring technological boundaries, Tongwei transforms breakthroughs into  drivers for industrial progress.
