On the morning of September 10th, the groundbreaking ceremony of Sunshine Industrial Park-Bona New Energy Sodium Ion Battery Project was held in Hulan Economic Development Zone, Heilongjiang Province.
The project has a total investment of 3 billion yuan, including 50,000 tons of positive and negative electrode materials, 10GWh sodium-ion battery and energy storage system integration production line. A phase of the construction of 2GWh sodium-ion battery and energy storage system integration production line, with a total investment of 620 million yuan, after completion of the annual output value of about 1.2 billion yuan, the annual profit and tax of about 0.03 billion yuan.
After the project is fully completed and put into operation, it can realize an annual output value of 8 billion yuan, an average annual tax of 350 million yuan, and more than 600 new jobs.
After the sodium-ion battery project reaches production, it can provide a full range of solutions for application scenarios such as power generation side, industrial and commercial energy storage, transportation, backup power supply, start-up power supply, engineering machinery, and small power in Northeast China.
The in-depth cooperation between Hulan District of Harbin City and Sungrow, Shenzhen Bona, PUHLER Intelligent Nano Technology Company will attract more new energy upstream and downstream supporting enterprises to settle in Hulan District, forming a strong influence of the sodium-ion battery industry cluster, and helping Harbin City to build a sodium-ion battery industry gathering heights. The project is the latest achievement of Shenzhen-Harbin cooperation, marking that the development of new energy industry in Hulan District has stepped into a new stage, and also provides strong support for Harbin City to accumulate new kinetic energy for green development.
