Semcorp’s first phase of another overseas factory project was completed

Semcorp invested in the construction of a wet lithium battery separator production line and supporting plant in Debrecen, the second largest city in Hungary. The first phase of construction has been completed, and customer sample preparation and verification work is underway.

It is reported that the first phase of Semcorp in Hungary covers an area of 97,000 square meters, with 4 base films (including online coating) and a number of offline coating production lines. The production lines mainly engaged in the manufacture and sales of lithium battery wet base film and functional coating separator.

Previously, the company announced that in order to meet the needs of the company's overseas customers, the company invested in the construction of the second phase of the wet lithium battery separator film production line and supporting Hungary factories in Debrexen City, Hungary with its wholly-owned subsidiary SEMCORP Hungary Kft. as the main body. It mainly carried out the manufacture and sales of wet base film and functional coated separator.

The project plans to plan and build 4 automatic imported film-making production lines and supporting coating production lines, with a total production capacity of about 800 million square meters per year. The total investment of the project is expected to be about 447 million euros (including about 165 million euros for construction projects, about 192 million euros for machinery and equipment, and about 90 million euros for working capital). The funds are solved by the company's own funds and self-raised funds.

According to reports, the government of Debrecen, Hungary and relevant policies have actively cooperated and strongly supported the overseas investment and project construction of Semcorp.
