CATL's third-generation CTP technology was uesd on the Kirin battery put into production this time. This battery has a new level of system integration in the world, and can easily achieve 1,000 kilometers of battery life and 4C fast charging of the whole vehicle.
According to the news released by CATL on September 28, 2022, the groundbreaking ceremony of the company's Luoyang new energy battery production base (Zhongzhou Times) was held in Luoyang on the same day. Zhongzhou Times is located in Yibin District, Luoyang City, with a planned land area of 1,700 acres and a total investment of no more than 14 billion yuan.
In addition, on the morning of May 25, the second phase of the CATL Luoyang Base project officially started with the annual production capacity of 30GWh. With the start of the second phase of the CATL Luoyang base project, 9 major industrial chain supporting enterprises have signed contracts and landed simultaneously to accelerate the construction of a new energy battery industry cluster.
