Envision Power starts to build Europe's first lithium iron phosphate battery gigafactory!

Recently, Envision Power held a groundbreaking ceremony for its battery gigafactory in Navalmola de la Mata, Spain. Spain Prime Minister Pedro ·Sanchez, Chairman Zhang Lei of Envision Technology Group, United States Envision Power and CEO of Europe Fang Nord attended the ceremony.

Envision Power's Spain plant will develop and manufacture the latest generation of lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery products, which is expected to start production in 2026. It will become the first lithium iron phosphate battery super factory in Europe. The plant will also be built on the basis of the continent's first zero-carbon industrial park.

Prime Minister Sanchez said that Envision is a global leader in green technology. It has innovated and created advanced products and technologies in the fields of wind turbines, energy storage, batteries, green hydrogen and ammonia, and new power systems. It has also created the first zero-carbon industrial park model to provide a global green industrial system. The foundation is laid. Envision is a key partner in Spain’s energy and digital transformation, helping the country achieve its carbon neutrality goals.
