Data released by China's Ministry of Industry and Information Technology on June 12 showed that China's exports of crystalline silicon PV modules reached 83.8GW in January-April 2024, up 20% year-on-year.
Data show that from January to April, China's photovoltaic industry generally maintains a high level of operation. According to the photovoltaic industry standardized announcement enterprise information and industry associations measured, the national crystalline silicon photovoltaic module exports amounted to 83.8GW, an increase of 20% year-on-year, photovoltaic products exports totaled 12.7 billion U.S. dollars.
From January to April, in the polysilicon link, the national output of 700,000 tons; in the wafer link, the national output of 320GW, exports amounted to 26.3GW; in the cell link, the national crystalline silicon cell production of 240GW; in the module link, the national crystalline silicon module production of 196GW, an increase of 52.9%.
