On June 4th，Suzhou Empire New Energy Ltd. signed an investment cooperation agreement with Environmental Protection Science and Technology City of Yancheng Tinghu District. It intends to build a high-efficiency HJT cell and module project with an annual output of 10GW in Yancheng Environmental Protection Science and Technology City. With a total investment of 10 billion yuan, the project will be built by Dr. Zhang Lingjun's team from Tsinghua University to construct intelligent, digitized, high-efficiency and low-cost HJT cells/modules, and at the same time, lay out the next-generation tandem solar cell production line.
On December 15, 2022, Liuyang Economic Development Zone and Hunan TongzeSolar Energy Technology Co, Ltd. signed a total investment of 10.8 billion yuan of 10GW high-efficiency HJT photovoltaic cell and module production base project, will build Hunan's largest photovoltaic industry cell and module production base, to fill the province's photovoltaic industry gaps. This is the spirit of the twentieth CPC National Congress, unswervingly take the ecological priority, green low-carbon high-quality development road, to realize the“double carbon”goal embodies the park to play a powerful initiative.
It is understood that the implementation of the project for the main body of Hunan TongzeSolar Energy Technology Co, Ltd. , which is jointly established by Wuxi Yingpeng New Energy Co, Ltd. and photovoltaic cell equipment listed companies jointly established. The project purchased about 800 acres of land, implemented in two steps, the total construction period of about 36 months, after completion of the expected annual output value of 20 billion yuan, annual tax 500 million yuan, will become a leading enterprise of photovoltaic industry in Hunan Province.
