According to the test of the Shanghai Institute of Microsystem and Information Technology of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, its conversion efficiency has reached 33.24%, which has greatly improved the highest conversion efficiency of 32.33% of similar tandem cells previously held by Jinko Solar and achieved the outstanding achievement of breaking the world record of photovoltaic product efficiency and power for 26 times in total.
For this record-breaking perovskite tandem cell, Jinko Solar’s independently developed N-type high-efficiency single-crystal passivated contact TOPCon cell was used as the bottom cell. Through a number of material technology innovations such as ultra-thin poly passivated contact technology, new suede light trapping technology, high transmittance, high carrier mobility intermediate composite layer material technology, and perovskite interface mixed material passivation enhancement technology, Jinko Solar once again achieved a breakthrough in the conversion efficiency of perovskite/TOPCon tandem cells.
This breakthrough once again proves the superior performance of TOPCon as a mainstream solar cell technology, and also demonstrates its perfect integration with the next generation of perovskite tandem cell technology. This means that Jinko Solar has once again broken the efficiency limit of single-crystal silicon cells, opening up new possibilities for the future development of the solar energy field.
