Energy Taiwan, jointly organized by TAITRA and SEMI, will be held at Taipei Nangang Exhibition Hall 1 from October 19th to 21st this year.

In order to alleviate the global greenhouse effect and achieve the goal of net zero carbon emissions, Energy Week has been upgraded and re-innovated, not only focusing on renewable energy power generation such as "solar photovoltaic," "wind energy," and "smart energy storage," but also expanding "Taiwan International Diversity.” The " Energy Creation Exhibition" and "Taiwan International Net Zero Sustainability Exhibition" have become Taiwan's renewable energy business and trade exchange platform. The exhibition is open for registration now. Those who register before May 31 will enjoy an early bird discount. At present, number of booths has increased by 65% compared with the same period last year. Relevant industry players are welcome to sign up for the exhibition and create sustainable business opportunities.

Realizing energy transition and then achieving the vision of zero carbon emissions by 2050, requires the use of renewable energy as a primary direction. Global renewable energy infrastructure and equipment have come online successively. In response to the intermittent nature of renewable energy, these systems can accurately control power consumption and energy storage system that mitigate power supply demand in line with peak power consumption is perfectly matched with renewable energy, playing an important role in the promotion of zero carbon emissions. Not only are the "Taiwan International Solar Photonics Exhibition," "Taiwan International Wind Energy Exhibition," and "Taiwan International Smart Energy Storage Application Exhibition," in Energy Taiwan mainstays of the energy industry, with the diversified development of renewable energy, this year's update the "Taiwan International Diversified Energy Innovation Exhibition" will be added to gather equipment, technology, and construction engineering manufacturers in hydrogen energy, small hydropower, tidal energy, geothermal energy, biomass energy to promote exchange and cooperation in various renewable energy industries.

On the other hand, global warming is becoming more and more serious. According to a report from the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), the effects of species extinction, ecosystem collapse, and food production reduction caused by rising temperatures continue to proliferate and carbon reduction actions are urgently needed. The exhibition also newly established the "Taiwan International Net Zero Sustainability Exhibition" to showcase carbon reduction and negative carbon related technologies, combined with green process, green finance, green power procurement, and a circular economy to strengthen international competitiveness and prepare for international carbon tariffs and carbon controls in advance.

Energy Taiwan 2022 is open for registration. Last year, the number of visitors exceeded 15,000, setting a new record of visits compared to the previous year, which shows the importance of renewable energy development. In addition to professional product displays, forums, and procurement fairs, the exhibition will invite well-known industry elites domestically and from abroad to share the latest technology and negotiate business opportunities.
