CarUX, a subsidiary of Innolux, builds smart vehicle products that comply with international safety standards, enhances the safety and innovation of automotive products, and seizes new blue ocean business opportunities for smart vehicles. Today (3/14), it was awarded the certificate of DEKRA, a third-party professional testing and certification organization.
CarUX has obtained the DEKRA automotive functional safety ISO 26262 and ASPICE certificates. The main purpose of the former is to ensure that the failure of electronic parts, components, and systems will not affect driving safety which will help automotive electronics manufacturers improve their functional safety development capabilities. The latter certification can guarantee the maturity of product development and that the company has qualified assessment abilities.
CarUX was represented by its two operating directors Kuo Kuo-Hsiang and Lin Tien-Jen in today's certification ceremony. They accepted certification from Dr. Kilian Aviles, Senior Vice President of DEKRA Asia Pacific and Managing Director in Taiwan.
CarUX stated, driven by the new wave of AI, 5G, and the Internet of Things, the importance of smart car panels is increasing day by day and will actively deploy in the field of smart cars to provide smart car products with high performance, high reliability, and high stability. In addition to successively passing the ASPICE automotive industry software process improvement and capability measurement standard and the highest level ASIL D process system certification of ISO 26262, CarUX and led the panel industry in passing the highest level AL3 TISAX certification.
CarUX stated that it will follow ASPICE and ISO 26262 development in the future to ensure the functional safety and reliability of various smart vehicle products in the overall supply chain and work with supply chain partners to provide high-quality automotive products, driving the smart car ecological chain.
With the increasingly mature development of AI, IoT, Internet of Vehicles, and automation technologies, automotive electronic products and human-machine interfaces are all developing towards intelligence and personalization.
