After working with Hello Kitty for many years, PGO has finally placed the mesmerizing cat on electric scooters. The Hello Kitty version Ur1 accepts preorders from today, which is limited to 1,000 units only, and it comes with additional purchase offers and after-sales services.
The Hello Kitty Ur1 collaboration of PGO is the latest brainchild between PGO and Sanrio. Scooters that are themed around Hello Kitty from the past had all been significantly popular, and the 1,000 units offered this time will induce another fierce competition.
The Hello Kitty Ur1 will be available in two colors, which are the romantic “Mystic Purple” and the glistening “Rocking White”, in order to seize the female target group.
There are no differences in performance and power equipment between the collaborated version and the general model, where they both adopt the battery exchange service of Gogoro Network, as well as the G2 permanent-magnet synchronous motor. The main difference is seen on the appearance and design details, where there are various exclusive silhouettes of Kitty.
The most prominent feature has to be the large Hello Kitty car sticker on the lateral side of the scooter, where the collaborated version even comes with exclusive Hello Kitty helmet and embroidered backrest. Furthermore, the dashboard is also incorporated with Hello Kitty animations, which achieves a comprehensive Hello Kitty experience.
Conforming to this collaboration of Hello Kitty, which targets urban metropolitan females, while also focuses on the adorable and elegant features, Hello Kitty has put on a purple dress with inlayed jewelries, and the most significant bowtie symbol has been transformed into a diamond bowtie to echo with the design of the diamond numerical figures on the dashboard.
PGO Ur1 is designed in accordance with female targets, where its seat height of 74.8cm, effortless mid-section that allows easy maneuvering, and the large capacity storage box, allow petite women to easily operate the scooter.
The Hello Kitty collaborated Ur1 model is priced at TWD$88,800, and is limited to 1,000 units in Taiwan. Those who preorder before the end of June will receive additional gifts, including a total of 5 times of free maintenance services within 2 years, free road rescue towing service on the first year, as well as TWD$50,000 of collision insurance and TWD$50,000 of driving injury insurance. In addition, an application of the PGO co-branded credit card from Hua Nan Commercial Bank will offer 24 installments with no interest rate when purchasing the scooter, and those who pay for the battery bills using the PGO co-branded credit card will also receive a maximum of 8% cashback, as well as discounts for maintenance and shopping at PGO distributors.
