General Energy Solutions (GES), a solar system integration company invested by Neo Solar Power (NSP), attended the syndicated loan sponsored by Yuanta Bank on March 27th. GES plans to use the NT$ 800 million acquired from the syndicated loan to build solar power plants in the world.

GES currently has 63MW of solar power plants that are in operation and more than 125MW that are in construction. The company hopes the funds acquired from the syndicated loan can help complete all the construction in 2017. Meanwhile, GES has actively participated in solar energy construction plans in Taiwan to respond to the government’s green energy policies. The company will also be listed in the stock exchange after reaching a certain scale.

NSP indicated that GES has accumulated a wealth of power plant construction experiences in Taiwan, the US, UK, Japan, Dominican, and Dubai. The most representative ones are the 25MW solar airport built in Indianapolis in 2014 and the 34MW solar power plant built in Monte Plata province.

The syndicated loan was coordinated by Yuanta Bank and co-financed by Taiwan Cooperative Bank and EnTie Bank. Quincy Lin, GES Chairman, pointed out that the syndicated loan signing ceremony shows Yuanta Bank’s positive approval from other banks.
