TrinaBEST has been targeting at the Japanese market among the Asian region, so Trina Solar decided to set up TrinaBEST Japan to strengthen long-term, local business.
Japan is a country that endeavors strongly to develop renewable energy resources, so the market is attractive to Trina Solar.
“The Japanese subsidiary provides local support through a well-trained and dedicated team to support this growing market,” said Frank Qi, TrinaBEST General Manager and President of TrinaBEST Japan, cited PV Magazine. “Through our Japan subsidiary, we intend to establish long-term relationships with Japanese companies that share our vision of promoting the uses of alternative energy.”
On July 28, 2016, TrinaBEST donated several units of energy storage systems to Kumamoto Prefecture, Kyushu as a disaster relief after the Kumamoto earthquake. The donation showed TrinaBEST’s commitment to the Japanese market.
TrinaBEST Japan’s office and operation center locate in Tokyo. As TrinaBEST sets warehouse facility and deploys sales team and technical supporters in the operation center, it is possible for TrinaBEST Japan to response to its customers as soon as possible.
“Such local operation is essential when we pursue new relationships with Japan customers and establish long-term relationships with our current customers in our endeavor to expand our market share in Japan,” commented TrinaBEST Japan Vice President Guinan Cui.
