Heraeus Photovoltaics, a global metallization solution provider to PV cells, is going to unveil two new products for PERC cells at this year’s SNEC tradeshow in Shanghai, China, from May 24 to 26, to demonstrate the company’s dedication into PV innovation, research and development.
At SNEC 2016, Heraeus will unveil two new, high-quality paste products for enhancing solar cell performance. SOL9631, a low-temperature front-side paste for PERC and ultra-fine line printing, and SOL326, a novel back-side silver tabbing paste enabling higher PERC solar cell efficiencies. These products, offered together as part of a “PERC Package,” have been especially formulated by Heraeus to help customers reduce costs and achieve efficiency gains to win in the market.
Heraeus will also celebrate the opening of its new Photovoltaic APAC Technology Development Centre as part of its strategic expansion plans for China and Asian markets. As the Chinese government has inaugurated the Thirteenth Five-year Plan which provides strong support to the country’s solar PV sector, Heraeus commits to offer its technical expertise to the industry in China and the whole Asian market. The development center will help Heraeus expand its presence in the Pacific-Asia region along with its world-class solutions.
“The upcoming APAC Technology Development Centre will help process customer customization requests faster and enable collaboration with a broader range of strategic partners,” said Andreas Liebheit, President of Heraeus Photovoltaics Global Business Unit. “The speed of business and innovation are moving at breakneck speeds, and the PV industry is no exception. We will be able to better serve our local customer needs with customized solutions and advanced products and do it faster.”
