Gamesa, an India-based renewable energy company, has won a new solar order from the industrial conglomerate Laugfs Power Limited in Sri Lanka. This order entails delivering 20MW of solar power in Hambantota province, in southern Srilanka.
Under this contract, Gamesa will provide complete turnkey EPC solutions that include engineering and design, supply of Gamesa Electric inverters, erection and commissioning of the 20MW photovoltaic solar plants. The plant will commence operation by October 2016.
