Amtech’s solar segment, consisting of Tempress Systems, R2D Automation, and SoLayTec, has received new orders worth of US$12 million in January. The orders will be consumed within the next 6 to 12 months.
Amtech Systems supplies production equipment and solar, semiconductor and LED products. Thanks to the strong demand around the world, the solar segment received a strong level of order in the start of the company’s fiscal second quarter.
“We continue to see healthy quotation activity within our solar segment,” said Fokko Pentinga, Chief Executive Officer of Amtech.
Orders for the solar segment include those for SoLayTec’s ALD systems.
