Suniva a U.S. manufacturer of high-efficiency monocrystalline silicon solar cells and modules, announced a partnership with Vista Solar to construct several commercial rooftop projects in California using its premier module line, Optimus®.
Optimus 325W modules were used in solar applications to maximize the power on the rooftops for multiple rooftops co-built by Vista Solar and Suniva. The two companies have already partnered to power rooftops in Brisbane, Hayward, Mountain View, Santa Clara, and Los Angeles, California. They continue their partnership to provide California with American-made solar power as they near the completion of another 1MW, scheduled to be live in June.
“Suniva’s recent module manufacturing expansion in Michigan provides the US solar industry on the West coast with easy access to high-quality modules from an American-owned, American-based company,” said Jaymes Callinan, president of Vista Solar. “We’re happy to have completed several projects with their modules and look forward to future installations using their premier Optimus modules.”
