Yingli Green Energy Announces the Launch of its 2014 FIFA World Cup(TM) Official Campaign "All Under One Sun"

Yingli Green Energy Holding Company Limited, the vertically integrated photovoltaic ("PV") module manufacturer in the world, known as "Yingli Solar", announced on December 10th the launch of its 2014 FIFA World Cup™ official campaign "All Under One Sun" in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. During this event, senior management from Yingli Green Energy addressed the media.

"We chose this theme, 'All Under One Sun', because we believe that sun has no boundaries and is an endless energy that touches all of us," said Mrs Judy Tzeng Lee, Vice President of Global Marketing of Yingli Green Energy. "As the world's PV module manufacturer, we have the responsibility to convert this endless energy into affordable green energy for everyone. With the upcoming FIFA World Cup™ in Brazil, we hope to help everyone to learn more about solar and the concept of sustainability. We plan to have both online and offline programs, such as photo contests and solar charging stations in the stadiums, to bring solar closer to the fans and to the world stage."

With the theme of "All Under One Sun", the Company will promote solar and the concept of sustainability through the FIFA World Cup™, one of the most influential marketing platforms around the world. The Company plans to have both online and offline campaigns in different regions across the globe, including introducing the basics of solar in our online ticket raffles, conducting photo contests, selecting volunteers who are interested in learning more about solar while working during the competition, and building solar charging stations in the World Cup stadiums. In China, for example, fans could take photos with Fuleco, the official mascot of the 2014 FIFA World Cup™, in various designated public areas and submit these photos for entering a contest to win FIFA World Cup tickets. In addition, the Company, as the only Chinese and the only renewable energy sponsor to the FIFA World Cup™, takes pride in its ability to offer renewable energy solutions to FIFA's official corporate social responsibility campaigns in order to create a positive impact to the social environment around us. For 2014, the Company plans to continue its footsteps with FIFA on offering renewable energy solutions to improve social environment in Brazil.
