Envision Solar International, Inc., a renewable energy branding and media platform designer and developer, is introducing EV ARC™ to the most vibrant EV market in the nation this week at the Charge Across Town event in the San Francisco Bay Area and Silicon Valley.
The EV ARC™ is a cost-effective, easy-to-install, standalone solar charging station that requires no foundation, no trenching, no building permit and no grid connection.
Charge Across Town for “EV Week 2013: San Francisco to Silicon Valley” – is a three-city, five-day electric vehicle exposition designed to engage, educate and excite Bay Area drivers about the benefits, ease and accessibility of EV ownership. Organized by Charge Across Town, close to 20 organizations will participate in this week-long event, including PG&E, Toyota, Ford, Nissan, Honda, BMW, and Tesla. Envision is one of only four equipment manufacturers invited to participate in this event.
Driving towards California Governor Jerry Brown’s goal of getting 1.5 million zero-emission vehicles on California’s roadways by 2025, EV Week 2013 is inviting Bay Area drivers from San Francisco to San Jose – from commuters to car sharers – to get behind the wheel of an EV and become part of the solution to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by driving greener vehicles. California leads the nation in the deployment of EV infrastructure and EVs with Silicon Valley and San Francisco leading the way within the state.

Invented, engineered and fabricated in the United States, the EV ARC™ fits inside a standard parking space and generates approximately 16 kWhrs per day that are stored and ready for use in the 22 kWhr on board battery storage. The system’s clean solar electrical generation is enhanced by EnvisionTrak™ which enables the solar array to follow the sun, generating 18 to 25 percent more electricity than a conventional fixed array.

The EV ARC™ will travel to Cupertino on the 28th where it will be displayed for National Plug In Day.
