Power Portal and Power Manager Software Provide Installers Immediate Commissioning and Web-based Management of AC Module Systems
SolarBridge Technologies (SolarBridge), a leading provider of integrated microinverters for certified AC modules, announces new versions of both the SolarBridge Power Portal web-based AC module management platform and the SolarBridge Power Manager AC module commissioning and service application.
Both applications feature a redesigned graphical user interface (GUI) with intuitive, role-based views for installers, homeowners and technical support professionals. These views offer detailed insight into site- and module-level performance, and enable installers and service professionals to quickly diagnose and resolve problems.
Module manufacturers can customize the user interface to match their corporate identity and preserve a consistent brand experience for their customers. Comprehensive site management tools enable administrators to efficiently manage large portfolios of sites, with the help of extensive filtering, sorting and site-segmenting capabilities. The new release also extends Power Portal’s and Power Manager’s integration options, allowing installers, system integrators, module manufacturers and other third parties to incorporate AC module performance data and administration capabilities into their existing application infrastructure, both at the ‘cloud’ level and at the onsite hardware level.
“SolarBridge’s open system architecture enables installers, service technicians and support professionals to remotely monitor and troubleshoot SolarBridge-enabled AC modules using tools they already know,” said Greg Madianos, product line director for SolarBridge. “The Power Portal and Power Manager user interfaces have been redesigned using state-of-the-art Internet technologies such as HTML5, which also allows customers to easily adapt to mobile devices running both Android and iOS. This inherent flexibility enables PV system installers to fully commission a site, including all communications setup and the graphical layout of installed modules, by interacting solely with the locally installed Power Manager, even in the absence of a reliable Internet connection.
SolarBridge will be demonstrating these new software releases, along with new microinverter products and AC Module partners at booth #3029 at SPI 2012 in Orlando, Florida.
