ET Solar Group Corp. ("ET Solar"), a leading solar one-stop solution provider, today announces its supply of more than 830 kW Photovoltaic (PV) modules to an Australian community solar hubs program.
Located in North East Victoria, the community solar hubs program that encompasses various rooftop home energy systems will be fully completed by the end of 2012 with a total installed capacity of nearly one mega watt. To date, over 280 home energy systems have been installed and grid connected.
The program was funded through Sustainability Victoria, a local government agency aimed at facilitating environmental sustainability in the use of resources. ZEN Energy Systems (“ZEN"), a leading Australian solar energy system integrator, acted as the solar energy systems project partner responsible for project installation and retailing.
Mr. Dennis She, President and CEO of ET Solar, commented: “As Zen’s strategic partner and exclusive module supplier, we are delighted to be a key equipment supplier for North East Victoria’s solar projects. This new transaction demonstrates the growing demand for our high-quality module products as we expand our role as a key equipment supplier in the burgeoning Australian solar market."
Mr. Richard Turner, CEO of ZEN, said: “We are proud of our long term exclusive relationship with ET Solar as the manufacturer of our premium ZEN “blackline” solar modules. These modules were an excellent fit for this solar program due to its superior product quality, aesthetics and reliability. We look forward to expanding our relationship with ET Solar in the future as we provide more suitable, efficient and high-performance solar modules for our rapidly growing residential and commercial customer base in Australia."
