“Discover the meaning of quality.” Under this motto Sunways invites customers, partners and anyone interested in photovoltaics to the Intersolar Europe 2012 fair in Munich. The Konstanz-based PV specialist, one of the technology leaders in the sector, will be present at the leading trade fair for solar technology between 13 and 15 June 2012 with a new stand design. With around 2,000 international exhibitors, Intersolar Europe is the global flagship fair for solar energy products and solutions.
At the company’s booth in Hall 4 at the New Munich Trade Fair Centre visitors can experience what it means to implement quality right down to the last detail. The Sunways stand will feature a wide range of PV products and solutions to be explored – including individual solar cells, solar modules, solar inverters, innovative storage solutions and building-integrated photovoltaics (BIPV) for energy-efficient buildings of the future.
Sunways solar cells of the current generation “18+” and matching Sunways Eco-Line solar modules feature innovative Sunways P3 Technology, which avoids yield losses caused by voltage- and light-induced degradation (so-called PID and LID effects) and prevents module damage caused by hot spots. Sunways P3 Technology offers enhanced output, security and yield. Multicrystalline Sunways solar modules of the SM 240U series are currently available to customers in output classes up to 250 watts peak (Wp), the monocrystalline Sunways solar modules of the SM 245M series are available in output classes up to 255 Wp. Sunways Eco-Line solar modules with a maximum output of 260 watts will be on show for the first time in Munich.
Sunways solar inverters are regarded as top-class worldwide. With the three device series, Advanced Technology, New Technology and Performance Technology, Sunways offers the right model for virtually any requirement – in output classes between 2,500 and 33,000 watts. The HERIC® topology, the first high-efficiency circuit for inverters worldwide, ensures optimum current flow and efficiencies of up to 98 percent. The Sunways Solar Inverter PT 33k just recently achieved two top scores (“sehr gut”) in the inverter test carried out by Photon, the leading solar electricity magazine, and was the best central inverter among the devices tested so far.
The production of solar electricity and its utilisation on-site offers home owners the prospect of long-term stabilisation of electricity costs. In addition, domestic energy management solutions enable increased independence from the large suppliers. Energy storage systems are required in order to increase the amount of electricity that can be used on-site beyond the natural ratio of 20 to 40 percent. In Munich Sunways will show its energy storage and management concept, which can easily be integrated in existing and new PV systems.
The new Sunways in-roof system offers a solution for aesthetically demanding, high-performance and safe energy roofs in energy-efficient buildings. At the core of the system is the monocrystalline Sunways Solar Module SM 200L, a solar laminate in black design. Future options will include versions with colouring that matches that of conventional tiled roofs. Coloured or transparent solar cells from Sunways in customised modules enable sophisticated design solutions for modern architecture.
