DelSolar Co., Ltd. (OTSM: 3599) will exhibit a new intelligent solar module, as well as four types of high-efficiency solar cells, and a completed PV system solution (PV kits), with mother company Delta Electronics at PV EXPO held February 29 – March 2, 2012 in Japan. DelSolar has successfully integrated TIGO Energy’s power optimizer to launch a new intelligent solar module, the D6M250B3A-WS-I, that is comprised of 60 of DelSolar’s mono-crystalline solar cells with the power output up to 250Wp.
This intelligent solar module can enhance the power efficiency of a PV system by resolving both shading and aging issues from either system or module aspects. In the past this might cause different power outputs among modules within a system, resulting in a mismatch problem. In addition, the PV system can be effectively managed through a real-time monitoring system. With PV-SafeTM technology, system owners can access different settings, such as overheating protection, to further improve the overall safety of a PV system. DelSolar is the first Taiwan PV manufacturer to apply for TÜV Rheinland certification with a module integrated with TIGO Energy’s power optimizer. The module is expected to be TÜV-certified by March 2012, which will allow our customers to enjoy higher performance and more competitive solar module products.
DelSolar will also showcase its 48-mono-crystalline black modules, the D6M200B2A, with anti-reflective glass and enhanced efficiency that can reduce installation costs and maximize kWh output per unit area. A residential roof top system will be demonstrated using DelSolar high efficiency solar modules integrated in Delta PV kits consisting of high performance inverters and a monitoring system. The system offers various options for different needs.
