Trina Solar Limited (NYSE: TSL) ("Trina Solar" or the "Company"), a leading integrated manufacturer of solar photovoltaic (PV) products from the production of ingots, wafers and cells to the assembly of PV modules, announced that its Mono and Multi Module Series have successfully received the ammonia gas resistance certificate from TUV Rheinland ("TUV") and its Multi Module Series has already received salt mist certificate from Intertek Testing Services ("Intertek").
Trina Solar's high quality mono and multicrystalline PV solar modules offer exceptional performance and can be installed in almost any climate or location. The new certificates indicate that Trina Solar's products perform well in installations with adverse environmental conditions, such as farmhouses with high concentrations of ammonia gas or seaside with salt mist concentrations.
The salt mist certification was conducted by Intertek according to IEC 61701 and the ammonia gas resistance certification by TUV according to IEC 62716. The results from these certification processes confirm the Company's commitment to quality and reliability. These tests not only certify enhanced overall reliability, but also verify that Trina Solar's modules are able to offer high yields over time even in adverse environments with high levels of salt content or ammoniac gas.
