DEK Solar, the world’s leading provider of screen printing equipment and processes for fuel cell and solar cell manufacture, has announced the appointment of Alex Kuo as Global Business Director Alternative Energy.
Bringing over 20 years’ experience of working with Fortune 500 companies to his role, Alex will be tasked with setting the future strategic direction for the company through leading and further developing the global sales and distribution teams. Alex will report to Michael Brianda, President of the DEK Group and will be based in a new DEK Technology Centre to be located in Suzhou, China.
Prior to joining DEK Solar, Alex was Global VP and General Manager for semiconductor assembly equipment manufacturer, Kulicke & Soffa. He has also held management positions at Dupont, Ferro and Honeywell, both in Asia and USA. Throughout his career, Alex has gained experience across a number of different industries, from chemicals to plastics, automotive to electronics and semiconductor to solar cell, and has been responsible for numerous functions including production, engineering, R&D, applied technologies, sales and marketing.
