EnergyTrend & LEDinside are embarking on joint effort to bring a thematic session at Green Lighting Shanghai 2011 on May 11, addressing innovative approaches to energy utilization of green buildings.

 Various guest speakers from management of leading companies in the industry are invited to give insightful speeches at this important event. Speakers for morning sessions include Arthur Hsu , PV Analyst at EnergyTrend, Mitchell Huang, Associate Manager at J. J. Pan and Partners Architects and Planners, Dr. Mohan Narayanan, the Vice President of Technology at Hanwha SolarOne, and Arthur Huang, Managing Director at Miniwiz, covering multiple topics that unfold energy technology applications of green buildings and the latest market trends and are intended to give the audiences a fresh view of this growing industry.

To address the market trend where solar systems adopted in green buildings are increasing, Dr. Mohan Narayanan, the Vice President of Technology at Hanwha SolarOne, is especially invited to speak on “Prospects of Solar Technological Development in Green Building Applications”. Previously, EnergyTrend had the privilege to conduct an interview with Dr. Narayanan and he mentioned efforts and achievements in the Chinese and global market and how companies can maximize vertical integration advantage by reacting fast to the changing market condition. Mr. Huang was involved in the design of a number of modern green architectural projects and received several awards for his innovative designs throughout his career as an architect. One of his many well-known works includes the Pavilion of New Fashion (also known as FF EcoARK) at Taipei International Flora Exposition which combines the concept of environmental protection and modern fashion and is made by thousands of recycled PET bottles. Afternoon sessions will feature a number of well respected industry leaders starting with Huang Xiaodong, the Director of Solar PV & EMC Division at China Architecture Design & Research Group. Through his professional background in design and project management, his topic of The Market of BIPV and China's National Subsidy Policy will provide in-depth knowledge for those particularly interested in BIPV market development trend in China. In addition, buildings in general consume a lot of energy and some of energy waste can be minimized and energy optimization can be achieved throughout the life time of a building by employing modern green technology. Duff Lu, EV&Battery Analyst at EnergyTrend, will talk about the importance of energy system integration while Roger Chu, LED Research Manager at LEDinside, Sean Zhou, Regional Marketing Director, Asia at Philips Lumileds and Allen Lee, Director of Everlight Lighting Sales Department at Everlight Electronics will share their view on how LED technology can be utilized as energy saving devices in green buildings to minimize energy consumption and opportunities and challenges this industry has to offer.
