Power2Drive Europe, the new exhibition for charging infrastructure and e-mobility, is the ideal platform for the industry’s manufacturers, suppliers, distributors and startup companies to present their latest developments and business models.
E-mobility is the crucial interface between the energy sector and the automotive industry, which makes it an essential cornerstone of the energy transition. Power2Drive Europe focuses for this reason on infrastructure solutions, traction batteries and drive technologies for electric vehicles, highlighting how the energy transition is both a necessity and a source of new opportunities for the transportation sector. By linking the issues of energy and transportation, Power2Drive Europe provides all industry players with the ideal platform for the environmentally friendly mobility of the future.
Increasingly powerful lithium-ion batteries are turning electric cars into mobile storage facilities in the renewable energy system, making it possible for them to contribute to grid stability. The program offered by Power2Drive Europe is therefore perfectly complemented by the event ees Europe, Europe's largest exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems, centered around stationary energy storage solutions and technologies, which is held at the same time. Power2Drive Europe and ees Europe will be held under the umbrella of “The smarter E Europe” along with Intersolar Europe, the world’s leading exhibition series for the solar industry and its partners, and EM-Power, the new exhibition for intelligent energy use in industry and buildings, which is also being launched in 2018. All four exhibitions are organized by Freiburg Wirtschaft Touristik und Messe GmbH & Co. KG (FWTM) and Solar Promotion GmbH. EM-Power is co-organized by Messe München GmbH.
