NV Energy Plans to Build Two Solar-Plus-Storage Projects in Nevada

NV Energy, a public utility that serves the state of Nevada in the US, submitted its three-year Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) to the Public Utility Commission of Nevada (PUCN) on June 1. The goal of the IRP is to facilitate Nevada’s energy transition and ultimately attain carbon neutrality for the state by 2050. Railway Energy Management Co. Ltd. (REMCL), a joint venture of Indian Railway and Rail Indian Technical and Economic Service Ltd. (RITES), has released an invitation for bids for the installation of 750MW of ground-mounted PV systems on vacant parcels of land owned by Indian Railway.
