HJT Cells from Golden Glass Reach Peak Efficiency of 24.28%

Chinese news outlets reported recently that the GW-scale production line of Guangdong Golden Glass Technologies Ltd. had completed its first round of parameter optimization and attained a peak conversion efficiency rate of 24.27% for its large-size (210mm) HJT cells. Golden Glass said that this peak rate more or less aligned with the initial target of 24.3% that the company had set earlier, so the first shipments of HJT cells to its customers are expected to take place in April as scheduled. ...  more

Shuangliang Plans to Invest RMB 5 Billion in a 20GW PV Module Production Site in Baotou

Shuangliang Eco-Energy Systems Co. Ltd. announced on April 6 that it will ink a cooperative framework agreement with the Management Committee of Baotou National Rare Earth Hi-Tech Industrial Development Zone to set up a production plant for high-efficiency PV modules. The annual total production capacity of the plant is set at 20GW, and the total investment in the plant is estimated at RMB 5 billion.
