According to Wechat Official Account @EnergyNO1, on April 14th, Tongwei Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tongwei") and PVO International BV (hereinafter referred to as "PVO") officially signed a 130MW high-efficiency photovoltaic (PV) module supply agreement, further deepening the strategic layout of Tongwei's TNC 2.0 series modules in the Northwest European market.
PVO CEO Arjan Pols and Tongwei Solar Business Unit Global Marketing General Manager Qiu Xin attended and witnessed the signing ceremony. PVO Chief Procurement Officer Erwin Damen and Tongwei Solar Business Unit Marketing Head of Asia Pacific, Europe, and the Middle East & Africa, Chen Fangzhou, signed the agreement on behalf of their respective companies.
Since their initial collaboration in 2022, the partnership between Tongwei and PVO has continuously deepened, evolving from initial module supply to a comprehensive strategic partnership covering distribution, commercial projects, and ground-mounted power plant development.
The two parties signed a 400MW high-efficiency PV module supply agreement in 2023, establishing a solid business foundation. In 2024, they reached a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement encompassing distribution, commercial PV projects, and ground-mounted PV power plant development. At the end of 2024, they further signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and reached a tripartite project supply agreement for high-efficiency PV modules. The signing of this 130MW TNC 2.0 high-efficiency module supply agreement marks a new and closer stage in their cooperation.
By utilizing 908 technology (Tongwei's independently developed 0BB technology), steel mesh printing, Poly Tech, and other advanced technologies, the TNC 2.0 products have achieved innovative upgrades while inheriting traditional advantages, driving a leap in module efficiency and providing optimal value solutions for global PV users.
Mr. Qiu stated that this cooperation with PVO is a further integration of the resources and strengths of both parties. The high efficiency and reliability of Tongwei's TNC 2.0 modules, combined with PVO's channel advantages in the European market, will help promote the European energy transition and accelerate efficiency evolution.
PVO CEO Arjan Pols expressed great anticipation for the cooperation: "Choosing Tongwei modules means choosing high efficiency and reliability.
