According to Guangfu.BJX, the groundbreaking ceremony of EliTe Solar Egypt project was held ceremoniously. The launch of this project is not only an important milestone in EliTe Solar's globalization strategy, but also injects advanced manufacturing technology into the Egyptian PV industry, promotes the upgrading of the local industrial chain, and provides strong support for the achievement of the 42% renewable energy target by 2030.
Located in China-Egypt TEDA Suez Economic and Trade Cooperation Zone, the project covers an area of 78,000 square meters, and is expected to be put into full operation in September 2025 with the planned construction of 2GW solar cell and 3GW solar module production lines. After the completion of the project, the annual power generation can reach 500 million kWh, which is equivalent to saving about 307 million tons of standard coal and reducing carbon dioxide emissions equivalent to planting 84 million trees.
