On May 13th, Kunshan GCL Optoelectronic Materials Co., Ltd. officially started the construction of a photoelectric energy storage equipment production project with a total investment of 570 million yuan.
As a major project in Kunshan City in 2024, the project is in charge of the Kunshan High-Tech Group, which is responsible for the customized construction of a high-standard factory for the 1GW production project of perovskite photovoltaic modules. The project will be completed in two phases, with the first phase having a construction area of 120,000 square meters, including three modern factory buildings and one office building, which is expected to be completed in 2024 and officially delivered in March 2025.
